About Us

Mike Jaskowski, owner and president of Fine Finish Carpentry, has been a resident of the Wood River Valley for 25 years. Nine of those years were spent working for Wilson Construction as the Interior Finish Superintendent.  It was his responsibility to supervise all interior finish and cabinetry installations, including: labor management, material and labor takeoffs, scheduling and ordering of materials, cabinet layout, and design. He was the liaison between builder, architect, and client with the satisfaction of accomplishing some of the finest finish work in the Wood River Valley.

Prior to Mike’s tenure with Wilson Construction, he was an independent contractor from northern Idaho and has an extensive background in residential and small commercial construction.  He has been in construction all of his life, beginning his first job at the age of 15 for his father who was a builder.  In 1979, Mike obtained his journeyman’s status after completing his apprentice training at the age of 21.  He has since been in residential construction, specializing in custom cabinetry and interior finish.

For the last 15 years, Mike has offered his services to architects, contractors, property managers, designers, and homeowners for new residential or commercial projects, both large and small.
